So, we’re still not sure if we’re moving or not. We’re in talks with the owner of the house, but we’re also looking for houses/apartments. We might end up buying something. We may end up building something. We’ve been having a lot of discussions about what we want to do and where we want to go, but we’re really not sure yet.

The only thing I’m sure about right now is getting my French citizenship and to that end I’ve finally scheduled my French proficiency test for May 16th. I’ve got a little over a month to get fluent. Hahaha…

In other exciting news, our gardener showed up and our grass finally got mowed. Our yard looks respectable again.

In less exciting news, we still haven’t been reimbursed for my monitor. K’s going to try calling one more time before turning the matter over to the consumer association cause they were supposed to pay us back within 30 days of us returning the monitor, and it’s been two months of people sending us to other people who then don’t reply.

But anyway.

As I mentioned last week, I’ve been back in my video game playing mood which means I’ve been spending some time in WoW. I’ve successfully gotten my main character geared well enough to do what she does best: sit on her auction house mount posting auctions.

My version of “playing WoW” is mostly doing very nerdy things like making spreadsheets to track my professions and gold across characters. Back at the start of the new expansion I set up a Notion database to keep track of my characters, but abandoned it when I stopped playing and now it’s in dire need of maintenance as some of the details have changed.

My goal is to get this database set up nice and pretty (and accurate) before I inevitably quit playing again. Wish me luck.

I’ve been really into legal pads lately. This feels like a personal detail everyone should know.

And now that you’re all up to date, I’m off to tackle the rest of my day.
