Final final final definitely final this time really

This morning I worked on TBSOL. My approach to editing this time around is simply “get it done.”

I’ve been keeping this draft to myself for so long that I’ve probably lost all objectivity.

(But I think it’s good).

Oh and regarding “v5” let me clarify that I’m still working off the same drafts available on Patreon (with some moderate to heavy modifications and some liberal borrowing of versions I’ve written previously). I decided to call it v5 because calling it “Final final final definitely final this time really I promise okay but this time for sure.docx” was not as useful as you might think.

I’m still mulling over the sequel. The first attempt at a draft gave me some food for thought, but I’m still not at a stage where I feel like I’ve got a solid plot worth exploring. If I’m going to disturb their happily ever after, I want to have a good reason.

So until I figure that out, I’ve been working on something different.

I used to worry that switching genres would mean losing readers, but these days I like to think that every story attracts the people it’s meant to attract. I’m grateful for all the people TBSOL has brought into my life over the years, plus the countless others I’ve never spoken to but have spent time reading my words.
