Poe welcomed me into the day by meowing for me to get up and clean the poop he’d deposited across various spots in the house. He followed me to each location to oversee the cleaning process and ensure it was done to his standards. Once satisfied, he demanded treats for his trouble and then sat in judgment of my coffee-making efforts.

And that’s been my morning so far.

K’s at the office today because her co-workers invited her to a fancy lunch (at the office cafeteria) and that means she’s left me all alone with the cinnamon rolls she baked on Monday. Should any mysteriously disappear you are all witnesses that I was here typing the whole time. (wink)

Yesterday I spent 90% of my TBSOL editing time fighting with my files. They didn’t want to save because the drive said it didn’t have permissions. Then my Obsidian plugin kept shouting errors at me. I kept losing the edits I was trying to make because the file kept not saving. The issues went on and on. But worry not, I did get some editing done eventually.

Since the US WoW realms were down yesterday I tried playing New World for a bit. Then decided I was really more in a WoW goldmaking challenge kind of mood, so I added a month of game time to my EU account and found that I had more gold there than I thought.

I also found that playing WoW without any of the quality of life improvements accrued over twenty years of game play is very inconvenient. What do you mean I have to run to the auction house like a commoner? Where is my beautiful dinosaur with the AH and mailbox attached? The indignity of having to walk.

Anyway, I decided I would try to make a WoW token’s worth (330K-ish gold) on the EU side in a month. Can I do it? We’ll see. It does require playing on the EU side which is the first hurdle.

Over on the US realms I might be losing gold or making it. I can’t tell because I’ve been too lazy to make a spreadsheet to track it. I should probably make a spreadsheet to track it.

In moving/staying news, no news on that front. We’ll likely be involving a third party mediator soon to help us navigate this situation.

In French test news, I now have three weeks to become fluent.

Oui, oui baguette. Fromage. Miam! J’aime la France!

I don’t see how I could fail, to be honest.

On that note I’m definitely not off to steal a cinnamon roll. I was here the whole time.
