Bullet Point Wednesday
I didn’t get enough sleep last night because my brain would not shut up so we’re doing bullet points again.
- I didn’t get enough sleep last night because my brain would not shut up so we’re doing bullet points again.
- This is traditionally the time of year where my introverted tendencies get the best of me and I tend to get lost in solitary pursuits, so I apologize generally. I’m trying to be more aware of my behavioral cycles so I don’t disappear entirely the way I have in the past, but if I’m even less social than usual (or take longer to reply) it’s not you, it’s me.
- Keyboard update: The issues aren’t 100% fixed but the repeating letter problem is happening infrequently enough now that I can treat it as a normal typo. Switching the Bluetooth receiver to the front USB slot seems to have solved a good portion of the issue so my assumption is that since it’s an older keyboard it’s not meant for the newer, shinier USB ports.
- Our living situation at the moment remains in flux. We may be able to work something out with the landlord to stay, or we may have to move. If we move, we’re looking to be closer to K’s work since she has to go back to the office now, which potentially means moving back to the area we lived before. There are pros and cons to all options so we’ll see what happens.
- K and I have been watching a lot of TV in the evenings so we’re all caught up on Matlock and The Curse of Oak Island and now we’re making our way through the second season of Elsbeth, which is delightful.
- Despite texting him since February, our gardener has yet to show up and our grass continues to grow at an alarming rate. Hopefully he shows up soon because last year the grass got so tall he had to borrow special equipment to handle it.
- I believe strongly that everyone should have fountain pens. Yes, they’re more maintenance, and yes they’re way messier BUT they’re a pleasure to write with. I’ve actually been writing so much lately that I’ve had to refill one pen twice and another three times.
- I’ve been playing WoW again, which mostly entails logging in to spend my gold in an effort to make more gold. So far I’ve mostly just lost a lot of gold.
- When I update my video card I’ll think about streaming some of my “gaming.” I think there’s a void in the “useless gamer”/”bad goldmaker” niche that’s waiting to be filled.
- K told me the ending of my posts is sometimes too sudden so I’ve been actively thinking about how to end things less abruptly.
- The end is soon. Please prepare yourself accordingly.
- This is the second to last bullet.
- Goodbye.
